Reveneering antique furniture can either enhance the looks or destroy the piece. Here at St. John's Wood Works we are always careful when we are veneering to use the proper spieces of veneer and have the area to measure as close as possible to the actual thickness that was on the piece originaly.
This chest of drawers is veneered in Crotche Maghony. We removed all of the old veneer and than started replacing with the new veneer. Once the veneer is stained and finished it will look like the rest of the old chest and drawers.
